Mission Statement

To advance economic equity and prosperity by empowering entrepreneurs, strengthening Black-owned businesses, developing the workforce, and creating pathways to ownership, innovation, and generational wealth through education, strategic partnerships, and community investment.

Greater Baltimore Black Chamber of Commerce Foundation (GBBCCF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing economic mobility, entrepreneurship, workforce development, and community wealth-building throughout the Greater Baltimore region. The Foundation empowers Black-owned businesses, entrepreneurs, aspiring professionals, youth, and underserved communities through education, technical assistance, business development, financial literacy, leadership training, and strategic partnerships.

GBBCCF serves as the charitable and educational arm of the Greater Baltimore Black Chamber of Commerce, developing innovative programs that expand access to capital, certifications, contracting opportunities, homeownership, commercial real estate ownership, workforce pathways, and youth entrepreneurship. Guided by its four strategic pillars—Ownership, Philanthropy, Certifications & Contracts, and Youth Developmentthe Foundation works to create sustainable economic opportunities, strengthen small businesses, and build generational wealth across Maryland.
